Medical treatment
Medical treatment aims to remedy the symptoms of cardiovascular disease using drugs.
These drugs consist of various substances, each with different effects. For example, they help to strengthen the cardiac muscle, to slow down or regulate the heart rate, to dilate the arteries or to stimulate the heart.
